Miss Resistance Free®, called "Maggie" here at our home ranch, is a debutante and a real lady. Standing 17.2 hands with four neat stockings and a broad blaze accentuate a blue-black coat; the stark contrast enhancing her regal presence. Richard Shrake recognized something special in this filly as a yearling. She is a Thoroughbred with outstanding confirmation. Richard saw great psychological potential. She came to live at Ventana Ranch when she was three months old. Richard dubbed her Miss Resistance Free®, after his Resistance Free® methods of training. Richard knew that when she was a filly that she would be an excellent blank canvas for him to paint a masterpiece illustrating his techniques

Maggie's formal schooling has been all Resistance Free® methods. Richard instilled the desire to learn and please into her... taking advantage of her physical and mental potential. At Breyerfest 2000, Breyer's annual international convention of model horse hobbyists, Maggie graduated.She was first introduced to saddle, bridle and rider.As anticipated, Miss Resistance Free passed with flying colors, accepting all as natural progressions in her education. The occasion was also marked by the introduction of a model in her likeness. She is now truly a work of art... a combination of Richard Shrake's training and from Breyer.
